REGISTRATION & BIDDING AT AUCTION
We want you to have a fun and productive day out at our auction so we've kept it simple.
If its your first time at auction or your 1000th our process isn't at all intimidating.
Turn up on the day - ensure that you have enough time to view the lots you may wish to bid on. See below for viewing times.
Register at the door with our friendly staff and you will be given your buyer number for the day - all we need is a form of ID if we don't know you.
To bid make your way to our seated sale room in plenty of time for your lot and clearly raise your number or catalogue to make a bid.
Our auctioneer will ask you to show your number if you are successful in winning a lot.
ABSENTEE REGISTRATION
You can register with us as a buyer using email or our contact form if you are not able to attend the auction in person and wish to leave commission bids.
ABSENTEE BIDDING: You can leave details of your bids with us and the auctioneer will execute them on your behalf. We will let you know if you were successful. You can complete a form at the auction house - or call or email in your bids - please ensure that you register first or place your bids through the online catalogue.
TELEPHONE BIDDING: if you wish us to call you when the lot you are interested in comes up please contact the office in person or by email / contact form / phone to arrange this in advance.
BUYERS COMMISSION: We charge 24% buyers commission (including VAT) on our fortnightly auctions and 24% (including VAT) on our antique and collectables auction on top of the hammer price
PAYMENT & COLLECTION: You can collect your items as soon as you wish - just pay at the office first. You don't need to wait till you have finished your days bidding - you can pay and load as you go.
We ask that you pay on the day of the auction for your purchases and remove them from our premises during or at the end of the sale. In some instances we may be able to keep your items for collection on the Sunday or Monday after the sale - if you require this please arrange this with a member of staff before leaving.
